Ch-ch-changes

As of approximately 2307 UTC April 25, the Ontario Phone Net has lost its leader. Given all the rumblings about fragmentation within ARES and NTS here in Ontario and the formation of ECOA as a new entity to look after ARES and NTS activities in this province, one has to wonder – “what next?”

As Section Traffic Manager for the province of Ontario I will be actively seeking a new manager for the OPN for the short term. I myself, cannot accept the position for more than a very short period.

I sincerely hope that OPN can continue to provide the service to the National Traffic System that it has provided over the past several decades.
